As an account executive, I'm responsible for managing all the daily, moving pieces and parts of our clients' projects, to make sure that they are delivered a high-quality product that is within the scope of the budget, and finished within the time they need it.
I've managed projects in the following marketing-related areas:
Before joining the team in early 2010, I led online communications strategies for Web-based children’s wellness program, GoTrybe.com, located in Johnson City, Tenn. (If you look hard enough, you might be able to find some fitness videos that I did several years back...don't laugh). While I worked there, I also spent a lot of my time as head coach of two very successful high school cross country programs: a girls’ team that won a state championship, and a boys’ team that ended the season with a state runner-up finish.
I earned my B.S. in public relations with a minor in marketing from East Tennessee State University, where I was captain of the track and field team and member of the women’s basketball team. I also served as president of ETSU’s Public Relations Student Society of America.
My Volunteer Work
I’ve been volunteering with Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center since 2010. I’m now on the Board of Directors, serving on the Marketing and Strategic Oversight Committees. Prior to that, I served as the president of the young professional board, New Partners of Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center, and helped to launch and co-chair a successful annual fundraiser, Cleveland Big Wheel Relay, which raised over $100,000 for CHSC in the event’s first four years.
I also enjoy serving on the Association of Accounting Marketing (AAM)’s Virtual Education Committee, planning monthly educational webinars for accounting marketers across the country.
My Spare Time
When I'm not busy doing all that, I really enjoy staying active. For years, I’ve enjoyed playing rec-league football, volleyball, basketball, kickball and softball. Now my main activities include CrossFit, yoga and long walks and hikes. I’m big into holistic health and nutrition, and have become an avid book reader/audio book listener and podcast junkie (business/entrepreneurship, personal growth and health/nutrition are my favorite topics). My husband and I love going to Indians games (our favorite Cleveland sports team) and finding any other excuse to get outside. And, last but not least, I love making the short drive to Youngstown to spend time with my large Italian family.
