As an account executive, I'm responsible for managing all the daily, moving pieces and parts of our clients' projects, to make sure that they are delivered a high-quality product that is within the scope of the budget, and finished within the time they need it.
I've managed projects in the following marketing-related areas:
Before joining the team in early 2010, I led online communications strategies for Web-based children’s wellness program, GoTrybe.com, located in Johnson City, Tenn. (If you look hard enough, you might be able to find some fitness videos that I did several years back...don't laugh). While I worked there, I also spent a lot of my time as head coach of two very successful high school cross country programs: a girls’ team that won a state championship, and a boys’ team that ended the season with a state runner-up finish.
I earned my B.S. in public relations with a minor in marketing from East Tennessee State University, where I was captain of the track and field team and member of the women’s basketball team. I also served as president of ETSU’s Public Relations Student Society of America.
My Volunteer Work
I've always enjoyed giving back. Right now, I'm serving as president of a young professional board, New Partners of Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center, and I also volunteer my time with the marketing committee of Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center. Over the past year, I've enjoyed volunteering my time as a marketing consultant for my neighborhood, a grassroots resident association in Cleveland’s Historic Warehouse District. I'm also a member of the Association for Accounting Marketing and The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club.
My Spare Time
When I'm not busy doing all that, I really enjoy staying active, playing rec-league football, volleyball, basketball, kickball and softball. I am a Cleveland-lover and avid supporter. I'm a big fan of the Indians, Browns and Cavs (in that order), and love taking walks with my dog, Jessie, around downtown, the suburbs and the gorgeous metroparks that we have in the area. And, last but not least, I love making the short drive to Youngstown to spend time with my family (especially my niece and nephew).
