Challenge

One of our clients attended a material handling industry tradeshow in Atlanta, Ga. As part of their branding and market positioning strategy they have decided to attend tradeshows.  Tradeshows are expensive commitments, so Skoda Minotti was called in to assist with the planning, implementation and follow up; helping to provide the company with an improved return on their tradeshow marketing investment.

Solution

Skoda Minotti met with the client several months in advance.  Goals were set and marketing programs were budgeted.  We assisted with:

  • A pre-show social media campaign and mailer, which included the development of several thousand target customers;
  • Created all the booth graphics and product demonstration materials; defined booth expectations for workers;
  • Managed an at-show press conference;
  • Managed leads and distributing them to sales;
  • And will provide post show support and follow up to their customers via literature mailings.  

Results

During the show, the client achieved high levels of booth traffic with hundreds of qualified leads.  Because of the press conference, the company received an article in the Show Daily with a follow-up story in a future issue of the industry’s premium trade publication.  The company made a statement that they are a key player within the industry.  This resulted in several at-show meetings with important vendors, customers and strategic partners.  The business received several compliments on their booth.
